GitLab is seeking a Fullstack Engineer for the Duo Client SDK team, building the SDK shared foundation for GitLab Duo clients. You’ll work in TypeScript across frontend and backend, designing the Node.js core, APIs, and client surfaces, with senior staff to guide you.

You'll help extract and publish versioned packages, ensure backward compatibility, and optimize for performance and security. This remote role offers strong benefits and opportunities to impact a global platform.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with TypeScript across frontend and backend.
• Experience with Vue 3 and Composition API.
• Experience designing APIs used by others.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, well-tested TypeScript features for moderate scope problems.
• Ship small features with tests, contribute to reviews and design discussions.
• Extract and publish TypeScript packages from the GitLab Language Server.
• Design durable public APIs with clear interfaces and versioning.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to improve SDKs.
