Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a highly capable Fullstack Engineer focused on Observability and SRE. You will design, develop, and deploy Grafana dashboards and robust data pipelines, bridging front-end visuals with back-end data engineering while automating DevOps pipelines in AWS.

You will implement CI/CD, IaC, and SRE principles to improve reliability, performance, and visibility across services, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4-7 years in Fullstack Development, Data Engineering, or SRE with focus on observability.
• Proven hands-on experience designing and maintaining Grafana dashboards.
• Strong backend programming skills (Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
• Experience with Grafana data sources like Prometheus, Loki, Splunk, CloudWatch.
• Deep AWS experience (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Kinesis, DynamoDB).
• Proven CI/CD and DevOps automation using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
• IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of SRE concepts: SLOs, SLIs, toil reduction, incident management.
• Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grafana dashboard development to visualize KPIs, logs, and metrics.
• Design and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) from Prometheus, Splunk, CloudWatch, and more.
• Develop and maintain APIs for data exchange across components and monitoring tools.
• Implement data quality checks and performance tuning for data sources.
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure for Grafana and data sources.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC to automate deployments.
• Apply SRE practices, participate in on-call, RCA, and set SLOs/SLIs.
• Create documentation and mentor junior engineers.
