Xplor is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer - Embedded Payments to join our remote-first team. You will own features across the stack, collaborating with backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps to deliver scalable, production-ready payment solutions.

Responsibilities include end-to-end development, API design, observability, and PCI compliance awareness, with a focus on quality and velocity using AI-assisted tools. This role supports a fully remote US-based workforce.

Competenze

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Node.js experience and ability to ship production backend services.
• Experience building React frontends consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Relational DB experience (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Hands-on with AWS or comparable cloud platform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git and agile delivery (Scrum).
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools.
• Comfortable working on a 100% remote team in an agile group.

Mansioni

• Execute full software lifecycle across backend services and frontend interfaces.
• Design and build well-tested features spanning APIs, data models, and UI.
• Produce specs and assess feasibility for new payments features.
• Integrate components into production-ready systems with observability.
• Contribute to verification plans, QA procedures, and deployment guardrails.
• Maintain and improve existing functionality including docs.
• Participate in deployment planning, on-call rotations, and incident response.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve velocity without compromising quality.
• Stay current with platform updates and PCI compliance requirements.
