Affirm, Inc. is hiring a software engineer to help ship web and mobile apps, design scalable APIs, and contribute to a flexible, high-trust engineering culture.

You’ll break down work with the team, collaborate across product, design, and analytics, and participate in on-call and growth initiatives. You should have 1.5+ years of software engineering experience, strong skills in React/Vue and React Native, and experience with Kotlin or Python APIs.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing and launching APIs at scale with Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to translate simple problems into robust software interactions.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product, design & analytics to align on requirements and trade-offs.
• Support operations and on-call efforts, monitor metrics and escalation.
• Contribute to team growth through interview participation and knowledge sharing.
