Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Software Application Engineer II to develop REST API backends using .NET, collaborate with clients to gather requirements, and deliver scalable business solutions. You will design, implement, and support applications across the full SDLC while ensuring high quality and security, with a focus on healthcare-oriented payor/provider tech.

The role emphasizes teamwork, proactive problem solving, and ongoing collaboration with stakeholders to drive process

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Full Stack Development with .NET, C#, JS React
• 2+ years in MS SQL Server, stored procedures and views
• 2+ years setting up communication technologies for REST API services
• 2+ years of healthcare communication tech such as HL7, FIHR, EDI formats
• 2+ years DVCS platforms (GIT, Bitbucket) management
• 2+ years secure coding practices
• 2+ years containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with OAuth framework
• Web development in medical payor/provider apps
• Strong client collaboration and requirement understanding

Responsibilities

• Develop REST API backend for an interactive website using .NET
• Prioritize tasks across the software development life cycle
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues
• Determine how existing apps and data sources can interact for new initiatives
• Code, debug, test, and maintain complex software solutions
• Collaborate in requirements/design/code walkthroughs
• Create and maintain design docs
• Identify problems and develop solutions
• Test complex program changes to ensure accuracy
• Prepare test data and support production environments
• Support process improvements to reduce risk and improve quality
• Assist leadership with business planning and reporting
