Signature Performance is seeking a Software Application Engineer II to develop REST API backends and web applications using .NET technologies. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients to capture requirements and deliver end-to-end user experiences in a healthcare/payor context.

The position requires 2+ years in full-stack .NET development, SQL Server, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, along with experience in HL7/FIHR/EDI formats and OAuth-based security.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Full Stack Development in .NET, EF Core, C#, JS React
• 2+ years MS SQL Server, stored procedures, views
• 2+ years REST API services
• 2+ years HL7, FIHR, EDI formats
• 2+ years DVCS platforms (Git/Bitbucket)
• 2+ years secure coding practices
• 2+ years containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with OAuth frameworks
• Web dev in medical payor/provider apps
• Ability to collaborate with clients to design UX
• Knowledge of automated code review tools (Copilot, Claude)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to interact across all levels of staff and management
• Strong judgment, integrity and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Develop REST API backend for an interactive website using .NET technology
• Prioritize and execute tasks through the SDLC
• Investigate and resolve complex problems including production support
• Determine how existing apps, databases, and interfaces interact for new initiatives
• Analyze, design, code, debug, integrate, test complex software
• Participate in requirements/design/coding walkthroughs
• Create and maintain design docs
• Identify problems and propose solutions
• Test complex program changes thoroughly
• Prepare and generate test data
• Troubleshoot via debugging and research
• Collaborate on process improvements to standardize workflows and reduce risk
• Support senior leadership with planning, analysis, and reporting for program goals
