AGIS is seeking a Node.js-focused Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale real-world systems used in healthcare environments. This remote, US-based role emphasizes API design, service integration, and production-grade software that is secure and compliant.

You’ll bridge product teams, clients, and engineering to turn complex healthcare workflows into scalable software solutions. The role supports AI workflows and healthcare data automation.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years building production applications.
• Strong Node.js experience with Express and API design.
• Experience with JSON-based data structures.
• Frontend basics: JavaScript/jQuery, CSS/Bootstrap/Foundation.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Node.js backend services and REST/event-driven APIs
• Integrate AI services into production systems and refine prompt workflows
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability in healthcare-grade environments
• Collaborate with product teams and clients to translate real-world needs into technical solutions
• Participate in testing, code reviews, and documentation
