Job summary

Activate Group is hiring a Mid-Level Software Developer for a fully remote role in IT. You will design, build, and maintain web apps using C#, ASP.NET Core, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with a focus on scalable APIs and real-time features via SignalR.

You will work in a cross-functional, Agile team delivering reliable software with strong code quality. The position offers permanent, full-time employment with a UK-based company that values development, progression, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficiency with C# and .NET, including .NET Core/Framework.
• Experience building web apps using React and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Next.js and App Router.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
• Solid testing practices using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and responsive design.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications end-to-end.
• Implement front-end UI using React, Next.js, TypeScript and Material UI.
• Build server-side logic and APIs with .NET 8.
• Integrate databases (MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB) and EF.
• Create and consume RESTful services and third-party APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.
• Write unit/integration tests and fix bugs.
• Produce technical documentation and collaborate with teams.
