Job summary

Oneida Technical Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) for a fully remote, full-time role through May 2027 to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and services. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team across the SDLC to deliver secure, scalable software solutions for government and commercial customers.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional software development experience with C#, .NET Core, React, and SQL Server, and thrives in Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience
• 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL Server databases
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework
• Front-end experience with React/JavaScript/HTML/CSS
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with Git and Agile environments
• Strong OO & design-pattern knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot across app, API, and database layers
• Knowledge of secure coding practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain full-stack web applications using C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces across browsers and devices
• Create and support SQL Server database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, functions)
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize application and database performance
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
• Troubleshoot defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Develop unit tests and support QA efforts
• Participate in peer code reviews and development best practices
• Maintain documentation for apps, integrations, and processes
• Assist with deployments, security, and on-call support
