Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking a Specialist II, Software Engineering, Full Stack to design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications for customers and internal users. You will apply seasoned technical judgment, collaborate with product and cross-functional partners, and contribute to code quality, reliability, and incremental system improvements.

You will work across front-end and back-end layers, mentor peers, and help elevate team practices while delivering scalable, high-quality experiences.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years building and supporting web apps or services.
• Experience with full stack across front-end/back-end using modern web tech.
• Experience in full SDLC with team collaboration.
• Understanding Gen AI capabilities in NLP/vision.
• Proficiency with LangChain or LLamaIndex for LLm apps.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack features and services.
• Collaborate with product/design/data and engineering teams.
• Write clean, testable code; maintain tests; participate in reviews.
• Monitor and optimize production apps using logs and metrics.
• Contribute to design discussions and trade-off analyses.
• Mentor peers and promote inclusive engineering culture.
