Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Engineer to build cloud-native applications supporting mission-critical operations. You’ll develop Angular frontends and TypeScript/Node.js backends on AWS, contributing to dashboards, data pipelines, and scalable services across teams.

Required 2–5 years of experience, AWS-based infrastructure, and CI/CD expertise. Primarily remote with in-person collaboration from the Durham, NC area; hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Angular v14+ experience; standalone components or signals-based Angular v17+ preferred
• Hands-on with AWS Lambda, IAM, S3 and event-driven architectures
• Infrastructure as code, preferably AWS CDK
• Experience with relational databases and ORMs (Sequelize/TypeORM/Prisma)
• Caching concepts with Redis/ElastiCache
• CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Git/GitHub workflows, including PRs and reviews
• Automated tests for frontend and backend applications

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Angular applications including dashboards and admin tools
• Develop backend services using TypeScript/Node.js and AWS Lambda
• Write and maintain AWS CDK infrastructure code for scalable deployments
• Work with event-driven and data-oriented services (Kinesis, RDS/ORM, ElastiCache/Redis)
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for Angular and Lambda deployments
• Implement observability with CloudWatch and X-Ray
• Collaborate via GitHub workflows and code reviews
