Job summary

PowerSecure in Durham, NC is seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications using Angular on the frontend and Node.js on the backend, with AWS infrastructure.

You will work across the stack, contribute to dashboards and tooling, implement CI/CD, and collaborate with teams via MS Teams and GitHub; 2–5 years of experience is expected in a hybrid role based in Durham.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Typically 2–5 years of professional software development experience in full‑stack, cloud-based, or web applications.
• Primarily remote with minimum travel; office in Durham, NC; MS Teams and GitHub collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Angular applications including dashboards and admin tools.
• Develop backend services using TypeScript/Node.js and AWS Lambda.
• Write and maintain AWS CDK infrastructure code for scalable deployments.
• Work with event-driven and data-oriented services (Kinesis, RDS, Redis).
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for Angular and Lambda deployments.
• Implement observability using CloudWatch/X-Ray and collaborate via GitHub.
