Sphinx Defense, Inc. is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team building the next generation of mission planning and command and control software for space communications programs.

You will own features from development through deployment, collaborating closely with engineers and cross-functional partners. The role emphasizes modern tech including JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue, Python, and containerized architectures.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional web or software development experience.
• Strong front-end fundamentals and modern UI principles.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Full-stack development with Python, APIs, and service-to-service communication.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and working with containers.

Responsibilities

• Own well-defined features from development through testing and deployment.
• Develop intuitive user interfaces and maintainable backend services.
• Collaborate with QA and cross-functional partners to meet requirements.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to API and backend service improvements supporting front-end apps.
