Job summary

Sphinx Defense is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the next generation of mission planning and command and control software for space communications programs. You will own features across front-end and back-end services, collaborating with engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver reliable software that meets mission needs.

The role focuses on building intuitive UIs with modern frameworks, developing APIs and backend services using Python, and ensuring high quality through

Qualifications

2–5 years of professional web or software development experience.
Strong front-end fundamentals with modern UI frameworks.
Full-stack experience with Python, APIs, and SQL.
Experience with containerized architectures (Docker/Kubernetes).
Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Build intuitive, responsive UIs and front-end experiences.
Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs.
Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to ensure quality.
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
Own features from development through deployment and monitoring.
