Sphinx Defense is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build the next generation of mission planning and command and control software for space programs. You will lead UI/UX development and enhance backend services used by US Government space missions, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping technical practices.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive web development experience with modern software approaches.
Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React and Svelte.
Deep understanding of containerized microservices and open architecture constructs (OMS, UCI, OCI).
Willingness to mentor junior engineers and own technical problems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

Lead UI/UX development and strengthen backend services for mission planning platform.
Design and improve APIs between frontend and backend services.
Review code to maintain quality and standards; guide junior engineers.
