Job summary

Coherent Solutions, Inc. seeks a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to help build a cloud-native healthcare platform in AWS. You will work across the full software stack using Python and React to deliver scalable applications for telehealth services and healthcare operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience with fast APIs, frontend in TypeScript/JavaScript, and experience with distributed systems, CI/CD, and HIPAA-compliant security practices. Remote or hybrid options may be available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering
• Experience building full-stack applications
• Proficient in Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django)
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript frontend experience with React
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
• Cloud-native AWS experience and distributed systems
• Experience with message queues and streaming platforms (SNS/SQS, EventBridge, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
• Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices
• Strong debugging and communication skills
• Ability to maintain daily overlap with US team until 1:00 PM PT

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and React
• Develop cloud-native applications for patient registration, scheduling, and workflows
• Build RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices for healthcare processes
• Create user interfaces for clinical and operational staff
• Integrate with Athenahealth, Salesforce, and other health-tech platforms
• Migrate capabilities from Athenahealth to custom apps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across SDLC
• Develop secure applications adhering to HIPAA and security best practices
• Participate in architecture reviews and code reviews
• Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure automation
• Explore AI-assisted workflows and automation
