Job summary

Saalex is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a remote position based in the United States. You will support enterprise modernization and software delivery for cloud-based services, focusing on frontend and backend development, APIs, and CI/CD practices.

The ideal candidate has experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, backend services, cloud platforms, and containerization. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and an Active Secret Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise or production-grade applications.
• Experience developing front-end applications with React/Angular/Vue.
• Experience building backend services and APIs with Python/Java/Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, distributed services, and microservices.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing applications using modern front-end frameworks.
• Build back-end services, APIs, and microservices with Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Modernize legacy apps into scalable cloud-native or containerized architectures.
• Develop integrations between enterprise applications, databases, and third-party services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Support cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists on modeling technologies and systems.
• Write clean, secure, well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform modernization.
