Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a collaborative development team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of modern software applications. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes backend work (about 70%) with frontend support (about 30%).

You will work across the full software lifecycle on cloud-based applications using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible, deploying containerized services and collaborating with engineers to deliver

Qualifications

Expert-level software development experience.
Strong Java development experience.
Experience with JavaScript.
Experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR).
Experience with Golang (Go).
Strong understanding of full stack development, with an emphasis on backend engineering.
Experience working with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack software applications.
Focus primarily on backend development while supporting frontend application functionality.
Develop backend services and application components using Java, Ruby on Rails, and Golang.
Build and maintain frontend functionality using JavaScript.
Contribute to applications running in AWS cloud environments.
Work with containerized applications and Kubernetes.
Support infrastructure and deployment automation using Terraform and Ansible.
Collaborate with other engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to scalable, maintainable software solutions.
