Job summary

Synergy is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise apps in an AWS cloud environment. You will work across UI, backend services, APIs, integrations, and databases.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software development, with 2+ years in full stack, strong Java/Angular/TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, cloud experience, and PostgreSQL. This role is remote with federal-friendly eligibility and collaboration across Product, QA, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years of full stack development.
• Strong experience with Java, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Experience building modern web apps and reusable front-end components.
• Proven ability to design REST APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
• Cloud experience: architecture, deployment, troubleshooting in cloud environments.
• Strong SQL experience, preferably PostgreSQL/AWS Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with enterprise Java apps on JBoss or similar platforms.
• Familiar with Git/Bitbucket, Maven, CI/CD pipelines and modern practices.
• Linux-based app environments and solid OO design/secure coding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications.
• Develop front-end and back-end components, APIs, and integrations.
• Translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across apps and integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce secure coding standards.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Cloud/DevOps, and other teams.
• Support automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production readiness.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance.
• Participate in estimation, refinement, planning, and Agile ceremonies.
