Job summary

VivSoft Technologies LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to design, build, and sustain modern enterprise web applications in a mission-driven environment. You will work on a production app with an Agile sprint team, delivering sprint stories from design to release.

The role requires strong front-end and Node.js backend skills, secure coding practices, and the ability to contribute quickly within an existing codebase.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of professional experience developing enterprise web applications (front-end + services).
• Experience with Angular, React, Vue, or similar front-end frameworks.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Git-based version control and code reviews.
• Experience with automated unit tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of secure coding, OWASP, and accessibility (Section 508).
• Agile/Scrum experience with sprint commitments.
• Ability to obtain favorable Federal suitability for Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain front-end components and Node.js services based on user stories.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and tasks.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal/external systems.
• Write secure, maintainable code following standards and dependencies.
• Address vulnerabilities from CI/CD pipelines and QA tests.
• Write automated tests and support QA/deploys across environments.
• Troubleshoot defects, incidents, and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and sprint ceremonies.
• Ensure accessibility requirements are met.
• Create technical docs and design artifacts; mentor juniors.
