Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC is seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer to join our in-house software team and enhance the Midas Manufacturing Execution System, used across multiple facilities.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy full‑stack features, create REST APIs, work with databases and plant‑floor integrations, and collaborate with production, quality, engineering, IT, and leadership to deliver reliable software for active manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional web or application development experience.
• Experience with C# and .NET, or substantial experience with a comparable server-side platform.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or another ORM.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server/MySQL or other enterprise relational databases.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience designing, building, or consuming SOAP and REST APIs.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and deployment processes.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack features for the Midas MES.
• Develop software supporting shop-floor and manufacturing processes.
• Create and maintain REST APIs, background services, data models, reports, dashboards, and UIs.
• Maintain and improve existing systems with bug fixes and performance enhancements.
• Investigate production issues involving code, databases, integrations, and plant-floor data.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, IT, and leadership to translate business needs into software solutions.
• Develop reporting and visualization tools for production, downtime, quality, OEE, and utilization data.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and data integrity.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support rollout of new Midas features across facilities.
• Balance long-term improvements with immediate operational needs.
