Freeform is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Manufacturing Systems) to build the MES that underpins its autonomous metal production factories, spanning quoting, work orders, scheduling, production, quality, and delivery. You will shape a scalable enterprise platform and own critical data workflows.

Based in Hawthorne, CA, this full-time onsite role requires a team-driven mindset and collaboration with product management, software, automation, and quality teams to deliver high-impact

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with backend web frameworks (Flask, Django).
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Experience building apps that interact with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement an enterprise software platform to integrate business processes from sales to manufacturing.
• Develop applications to track end-to-end lifecycle of parts across customers worldwide.
• Act as engineer, product owner, and team lead — scope features, drive schedules, assign tasks, deliver results.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations to gather requirements and solve problems.
• Design scalable and resilient systems with strong quality, reliability, and security.
• Maintain backend data model accessibility for BI users.
• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces focused on functionality.
