Job summary

rockITdata is seeking a Full Stack Data Scientist to join a remote, US-based team. You will build end-to-end data-driven solutions, from data pipelines to model deployment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and scalable production systems.

The role requires expertise in data preprocessing, EDA, visualization, and ML model development, with cloud deployment experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, and feature engineering.
• Expert-level skills in data visualization platforms (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience deploying end-to-end data science solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles for scalable and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust data pipelines for acquiring, cleaning, and preprocessing large-scale datasets.
• Create interactive visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and deploy predictive models using ML algorithms.
• Build scalable software solutions to deploy ML models into production.
• Establish monitoring to track model performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders.
