Job summary

BIP US is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Data Engineer to design, build, and enhance data products supporting front-office investment workflows across Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk Analytics, and related functions. You will work across the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation through database design, curated datasets, APIs, and modern React-based user experiences.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL with production data pipelines.
• Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with cloud data environments (Azure, Snowflake, AKS).
• Background in asset management or capital markets.
• Understanding front-office investment data concepts.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Develop database structures and curated datasets.
• Handle investment data including positions, transactions, pricing, market data.
• Create REST/GraphQL APIs and data-access services.
• Build React-based UIs for data exploration.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk teams.
• Improve data quality, lineage, and performance.
• Troubleshoot data issues end-to-end.
• Apply software engineering practices and automated testing.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools.
• Enable AI-enabled workflows with enterprise data.
• Provide production support for data/application issues.
