Job summary

The Innovative CPA Group LLC in Venice, FL is seeking an expert-level Bookkeeper to join our team. The role can be in-person or fully remote, with part-time or full-time options (20–40 hours/week).

You will support external clients with QuickBooks Online/Desktop, handle AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and sales tax filings, and maintain confidential files. Required: at least four years of bookkeeping experience and strong QuickBooks expertise; preferred QuickBooks ProAdvisor credentials.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of bookkeeping experience.
• Expert with QuickBooks Online; QuickBooks Desktop a plus.
• Knowledge of integrating transactions via QuickBooks and QB Online.
• Experience with compiling and filing Sales Tax.
• QB Pro Advisor credentials a plus.
• QB Apps and financial automation experience.
• Strong cash and accrual posting and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and timely task completion.

Responsibilities

• Client account preparation and cleanup for entities and individuals.
• Consistent client interaction and communication.
• Conversion of client accounts to QuickBooks Online.
• Individual bill pay and personal finance management.
• Handling AR & paying AP invoices.
• Bank, credit card and account reconciliations.
• Sales Tax filing.
• Handling special projects and confidential files.
• Consulting on bookkeeping software, POS, app integration, and tech systems.
