Job summary

Innovative CPA Group of Florida is seeking an expert-level Bookkeeper in Venice, FL. The role supports clients in person or remotely, with 20–40 hours per week, and focuses on bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online expertise for diverse small-business clients.

The candidate will handle AR/AP, reconciliations, and tax-related tasks while delivering client-focused financial insights and ensuring accuracy across transactions.

Qualifications

• At least four years of bookkeeping experience.
• Expert with QuickBooks Online; QuickBooks Desktop a plus.
• Knowledge of integrating credit card and vendor transactions via QuickBooks.
• Experience with Sales Tax filing and financial automation is a plus.
• QB ProAdvisor credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Client account preparation and cleanup for entities and individuals.
• Consistent client interaction and communication.
• Conversion of client accounts to QuickBooks Online.
• Individual bill pay and personal finance management.
• Handling AR and AP invoices, bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Sales Tax filing and special project support.
• Maintaining confidential files and advising on bookkeeping software and integrations.
