Job summary

Innovative CPA Group of Florida in Venice, FL seeks an expert-level Bookkeeper to join the team. The role can be in-person or fully remote, and part-time or full-time (20–40 hours/week).

You will provide financial support to external clients, focusing on bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate has strong experience with small business accounting, cash/accrual posting, and the ability to consult on software integrations and financial processes.

Qualifications

• Expert with QuickBooks Online; QuickBooks Desktop a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean client accounts (entities/individuals).
• Interact with clients regularly.
• Convert client accounts to QuickBooks Online.
• Manage bill payments and personal finance.
• Enter and pay Accounts Payable and reconcile accounts.
• File Sales Tax and handle special projects.

Full Charge Bookkeeper- Part-time and Full-time opportunity

Full Charge Bookkeeper

The Innovative CPA Group of Florida is currently seeking an expert-level Bookkeeper to join our team in Venice, FL.

This position is available as either an in-person or fully remote opportunity. We are open to candidates interested in part-time or full-time roles, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week.

This position will be responsible for providing in person and/or remote financial support to external clients. The ideal candidate should possess a strong and proven bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online background and have the ability to understand small business accounting and financial processes.

The Bookkeeper will handle financial transactions for a variety of clients and exciting start-ups.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Client account preparation and cleanup (for entities and individuals)
• Consistent client interaction
• Conversion of client accounts to QuickBooks Online
• Individual bill pay and personal finance management
• Handling Accounts Receivable (AR) & entering and paying Accounts Payable (AP) invoices
• Bank, credit card and various account reconciliations
• Sales Tax filing
• Handling special projects as required
• Maintaining confidential files
• Consulting on client's bookkeeping/accounting software, POS, app integration, and other technology systems

Skills and Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of bookkeeping experience
• Expert with QuickBooks Online, experience with QuickBooks Desktop a plus
• Knowledge of how to integrate credit card and vendor transactions via QuickBooks and QuickBooks online
• Experience with compiling and filing Sales Tax
• QuickBooks Pro Advisor credentials a plus
• QB Apps and financial automation experience
• Strong understanding of cash and accrual posting and reporting
• Strong organizational skills; ability to schedule and accomplish assigned tasks in a timely manner
