NextLink is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead OSP fiber projects across Texas with a focus on FTTH design and execution. You will manage field teams, coordinate with planning and engineering, and ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, site walks, cost estimation, and proficient use of Excel and Google Earth. Expect significant travel and remote coordination with multiple sites and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years managing OSP construction projects.
• FTTH construction leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of common FTTH PON design and engineering practices.
• Project Management Experience on FTTH projects highly preferred.
• Strong with Excel, Google Earth, and various Project Mgmt. databases.
• Experience performing site walks, cost estimating, site layout planning.
• Team Oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Manage underground and aerial construction personnel.
• Coordinate with planning to prepare cost estimates and route proposals.
• Plan, schedule, and identify operational obstacles with leadership.
• Ensure resources and workload are properly allocated.
• Prepare written correspondence to project team.
• Attend construction meetings as requested.
• Read and interpret construction documents and splicing diagrams.
