Reddit is seeking a Product Engineer to join Reddit Answers, our AI-powered search experience. You will develop and scale features across the web platform, collaborating with Product, Design, ML, and Data Science to ship user‑centric functionality for hundreds of millions of users.

This remote‑friendly role prioritizes US time zones and offers opportunities to experiment, influence product direction, and impact the core Reddit interface.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript or relevant languages.
• Proficiency with React and Next.js for UI and SSR.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and web performance optimization.
• Experience translating data and user feedback into meaningful product features, with Python and Go familiarity.
• Knowledge of testing, code reviews, design, and documentation practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration; strong product sense.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to craft engaging, user‑focused experiences.
