What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, staff, and guests at the clinic
- Schedule patient appointments accurately using the computer system
- Verify and enter patient registration documentation into the electronic medical system
- Communicate with the clinical care team to assist in closing gaps in care
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least one year of demonstrated experience in an administrative position
- Knowledge of healthcare office practices, policies, and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including telephone and email etiquette
