Job summary

Maximus seeks a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team. This role focuses on front-end design and development, creating mocks, wireframes, and documentation for PMO and stakeholders while optimizing GUIs and navigation for user-facing features.

The position is remote with a Secret clearance; requires a bachelor's degree (master's may substitute) and substantial experience in TypeScript with Angular or React, plus DevSecOps and containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field; master’s may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development experience in OO and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices and containers.
• Experience preparing, conducting, and documenting system tests per project standards.
• 3 years of Jira experience.
• 3 years testing web-based applications.
• 3 years in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years' experience with TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Cloud and containerized environments experience (Kubernetes/Docker).
• 5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five of NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Tomcat, Maven EXP, SonarQube.
• 3 years of recent and relevant front-end development experience.
• Agile, user-centric UI/UX design experience.
• Experience generating system wireframes and mockups for multiple personas.
• UX tool suites (Sketch, InVision) usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end design and development tasks including design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for PMO and stakeholder review.
• Plan and implement modifications to GUIs, construct and optimize UI elements, and improve navigation for user-facing features.
• Facilitate operator ease of use for new feature development and ensure accessibility and responsiveness across devices.
• Collaborate on developing functional architectures and procedures as part of project deliverables.
