Job summary

Cedar Innovations Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Front End Engineer to build the user-facing web app in React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Remote-first, full-time, with equity and a generous compensation package.

You’ll own features from design handoff to release, work with AI tooling to accelerate shipping, and collaborate closely with product and design. The role emphasizes ownership, testing, accessibility, and shipping high-quality UI from day one. US-based teammates with NYC options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Solid HTML/CSS skills and mobile responsiveness.
• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Testing is part of the workflow.
• Interest in AI tooling and improving tooling.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with product/design.
• Bonus: design eye and Figma; WCAG accessibility experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the consumer-facing web app in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Lean on our AI tooling to ship quickly, and help make it better as you go.
• Be fanatical about testing your assumptions and judging your work by outcomes.
• Take dense financial logic and turn it into screens people can understand and trust.
• Work shoulder to shoulder with design and product, from rough idea to shipped, accessible UI.
• Own features from build to release, then watch how people use them and make them better.
• Keep the bar high in code review, write tests that matter, and chase bugs to their root cause.
