Job summary

Edconic is hiring a Front-End Developer to join the web team responsible for Edconic’s digital properties, from school websites to landing pages and email templates. You will own a WordPress-heavy stack, collaborating with designers, IT, and MarTech to deliver fast, accessible pages that align with brand identity.

You will work with a small team, shaping coding standards, migrating sites to a modern WordPress stack, and staying up-to-date with evolving web technologies.

Qualifications

• Build a custom WordPress theme from scratch using PHP templates and Advanced Custom Fields.
• Collaborate with design and MarTech to translate designs into responsive pages.
• Experience building/testing HTML emails and modern WordPress block development.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain public-facing websites, micro-sites, and landing pages.
• Translate UX/UI designs into polished, responsive pages.
• Maintain custom WordPress themes across modern and classic stacks.
• Shape coding standards and migrate sites to the new stack.
• Stay current on web standards and contribute ideas.
