Job summary

CONVOTIS Iberia is seeking a senior network professional to manage network and firewall topics, implementing IPSec VPNs and documenting configurations on pfSense and OPNsense.

You will design network environments for client and internal projects, perform advanced troubleshooting, and contribute to basic network automation. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with willingness to train and onboard colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience (excluding education programs).
• Hands-on knowledge of pfSense and OPNsense, IPSec VPNs, and BGP or other dynamic routing protocols.
• Experience with switches (preferably Dell) and networking on Proxmox.
• Strong IPv4/IPv6 expertise.
• Experience with network automation using Ansible, Python or Bash.
• Independent, structured work style with clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage network and firewall topics across CONVOTIS / MCON from daily operations to projects.
• Implement and document IPSec VPNs and firewall rules on pfSense and OPNsense.
