Job summary

it resources is seeking a Senior Secure Workload Engineer to lead planning, implementation, and operationalization of an enterprise workload visibility and segmentation initiative. You will establish a repeatable Cisco Secure Workload approach and transfer knowledge to the customer team.

The role involves planning a phased rollout, mapping dependencies, deploying agents across Windows and Linux, and developing segmentation policies with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Workload or comparable workload visibility platform.
• Experience planning application-based segmentation and mapping dependencies and traffic patterns.
• Experience implementing workload agents across Windows and Linux enterprise environments.
• Understanding of enterprise networking, identity services, shared services, security policy, and application communication flows.
• Experience developing, validating, and operationalizing segmentation policies in complex environments.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and establish repeatable implementation procedures.
• Strong customer-facing communication and knowledge-transfer skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a repeatable Cisco Secure Workload implementation roadmap using a phased rollout.
• Assess the existing Secure Workload deployment and recommend steps for broader adoption.
• Map application components, dependencies, and traffic patterns for visibility and segmentation decisions.
• Plan and implement agent deployment across Windows and Linux environments.
• Develop segmentation policies and validate application communications before enforcement.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, identity, network, and application stakeholders.
• Create implementation docs, SOPs, and onboarding approach for future apps.
• Mentor customer team with hands-on coaching and knowledge transfer.
