Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking an Information Security Engineer to lead the Cisco Secure Web Appliance migration for a large healthcare enterprise. This remote, 3–4 month contract runs August through November, focusing on implementing and validating SWA for on-prem web proxy services.

You will configure security policies, SSL inspection, URL filtering, and authentication integrations while collaborating with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure a seamless cutover and thorough

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Network Security Engineering.
• Hands-on Cisco SWA implementation experience.
• Experience deploying and supporting secure web proxy solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of web security, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and web traffic management.
• Experience creating policies, access controls, and authentication integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of Cisco SWA within a large enterprise environment.
• Assist with migration from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG to Cisco SWA.
• Configure security policies, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and authentication integrations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams for a seamless migration.
• Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during the project lifecycle.
• Document configurations and implementation best practices.
