Abbott is seeking a Diabetes Sales Associate to drive growth for FreeStyle Libre by building strong relationships with physicians, nurses and other health-care professionals in a field-sales capacity. This role focuses on delivering sales and profitability objectives while expanding the brand in the market.

The position emphasizes collaboration with various health-care channels and requires the ability to develop territory plans, achieve quotas, and stay current on product and market trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 1-3 years previous sales experience with a successful sales track record from previous positions
• Excellent communication skills, high energy, integrity and ambition to succeed
• Preferred sales experience in the healthcare industry
• B2B sales experience

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales quotas/objectives for FreeStyle Libre portfolio
• Prospect for new business and close for new sales in expanded marketplace
• Collaborate with channels within HCP, Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care organizations
• Establish relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, and other health care constituents
• Develop business plans based on current trends and goals that include short and long-term actions
• Deliver sales results in primary care and endocrinology markets
