Job summary

CELLA by Randstad Digital is seeking a Freelance Packaging Designer for a remote, contract role in the consumer packaged goods sector. The designer will help develop packaging and merchandising using VIS tool kits, customer and client needs, and brand standards.

Work closely with Design Managers and other designers to translate concepts into packaging designs, create presentations and mood boards, and support research with market insights.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide professional portfolio upon request.
• Strong proficiency in design software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops visual elements and creative concepts for packaging and merchandising.
• Translates concepts into packaging designs meeting brand standards.
• Creates presentations, mood boards, and proposals based on project scope.
• Collaborates with Design Managers and other designers for consistency.
• Conducts market research to stay current with trends and design developments.
• Supports the team with problem solving and process improvements.
