Job summary

Cella is seeking a talented Packaging Designer for a 5-month contract with a leading multinational retail corporation. The position is based in Framingham, MA, offering a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the office and a focus on trend-forward packaging and brand integrity.

You will manage cross-functional collaboration, vendor relations, and production deadlines, delivering packaging across home, trend, and accessories categories with strong pre-press and color management.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of packaging design experience in retail/CPG/home goods/softlines.
• Bachelor of Fine Arts or degree in Graphic Design/Packaging Design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of trend-forward packaging across home, trend, and accessories categories (boxes, hangtags, labels, layouts).
• Oversee pre-press approvals, color/construction tolerances, dielines, typography, and production-ready components.
• Direct package photography and styling, manage shot timelines and content layout.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Trend Teams, Buyers, Regulatory, and Legal/Trademark teams.
