Job summary

USAA is seeking a Mid-Level Fraud Strategy Analyst for Dispute Abuse to drive our fraud strategy, policies, and analytics capabilities. Remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional travel; on-site four days a week for nearby applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education/experience.
• 4 years of experience in financial crimes and stakeholder consultation.
• Experience gathering requirements and applying business rules to tech solutions.
• Experience using fraud rules management to reduce loss and fraud exposures.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools and BI platforms (SQL, SAS, BI tools).
• Knowledge of banking laws and regulations (Reg E, Reg CC, UDAAP, FACTA, Reg Z).
• Strong written and verbal communication, synthesizing data and reporting findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for complex fraud problems aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead analyses or strategy initiatives using quantitative approaches.
