Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a remote fraud analyst to join an operations team focused on payments fraud, protecting Meta users and partners. You will support our team and directly work with end users to resolve live-time tickets while applying a diverse toolkit of data analysis and investigative work.

The role requires 3+ years in fraud investigations or cybersecurity and strong Excel/data-visualization skills to interpret charts and datasets.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in CS/IS/cybersecurity or related fields.
• 3+ years in online fraud investigations, trust & safety, or cybersecurity.
• Experience in data review and ML labeling.
• Ability to manipulate raw datasets in Excel and interpret charts/visualizations.
• Experience mitigating time-sensitive escalations.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in the adversarial ecosystem in our payment products and stay up to date on latest product fraud trends.
• Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful signals and patterns that correlate with fraud and abuse.
• Use in-house tools to label images, signals, and payments based on existing protocols.
• Make informed decisions on difficult cases and provide feedback to improve review protocols.
• Identify new fraud trends and adversarial behaviors; collaborate with our business process team to improve fraud detection capabilities.
• Partner with team members to improve processes and tools of the teams labeling interface.
