Akerman LLP seeks an associate with 3 to 5 years of transactional franchise experience. This is a national franchise practice role where growth and client service matter. The ideal candidate will have experience with FDDs, franchise agreements, registrations, and termination issues, plus related regulatory and compliance matters.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Bar admission or eligibility in the resident office jurisdiction.
• 3–5 years of franchising transactional experience.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in franchise practice.

Responsabilidades

• Handle franchise transactional work including FDDs and franchise agreements.
• Assist with franchise registrations, default and termination issues.
• Address regulatory, relationship, and compliance matters in franchise law.
• Support mergers and acquisitions in the franchise space and international licensing.
