Job summary

Unknown Unknowns is seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to own the design, development, and testing of FPGA firmware for space-based and ground-based applications. You will collaborate with electrical and software engineers to drive complex FPGA systems from concept to implementation.

The role requires deep digital design expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and solid teamwork. Remote work is offered with occasional travel; compensation is based on experience and market conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing FPGA firmware: VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, etc.
• Experience with FPGAs, SoCs, and related development tools and workflows.
• Experience integrating FPGA designs onto custom hardware.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company's immigration sponsorship.
