Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking skilled and adaptable FPGA engineers to join a multidisciplinary Space Tech team. The role focuses on RTL/firmware development for SoC/FPGA platforms and high-reliability aerospace environments.

You will design, implement, and validate firmware for space electronics, work with SpaceWire, MIL-STD, and various peripherals, and contribute to hardware/software co-design while ensuring ITAR/EAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS required.
• 2 years HDL design experience required.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RTL/Firmware for general-purpose and mission-specific platforms.
• Implement firmware for peripheral interfaces and space-grade devices.
• Deploy firmware to firmware to hardware and validate in aerospace environments.
• Ensure compliance with NASA/ESA/MIL standards.
