Job summary

Vallen's FP&A Manager is an individual contributor responsible for performing financial budgeting, forecasting/planning, reporting and analysis to support impactful decisions of the leadership teams. They fulfil a key role in creating financial models to help improve the company's financial performance, accelerate its growth, and drive decision making processes.

Essentials include 7-10 years of financial analysis experience, a Finance or Accounting degree, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 7–10 years of financial analysis experience.
• MBA CMA preferred.
• Experience with distribution companies and/or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and report actual performance against budget/forecast/PY.
• Develop and prepare matrices and reports for operations and regions.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Provide pro-active support to business leaders after monthly results.
• Assist in deep dive review of operational areas.
• Develop analytics to drive gross margin improvement.
• Support 3–5 year EBIT strategy development and budgeting.
• Lead special project analyses as required.
