Job summary

KoBold Metals is seeking a Sr. Finance Manager to scale our FP&A function across global operations, including exploration programs and corporate finance.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll lead a small team, build durable financial processes, and drive automation and AI-enabled workflows to support rapid growth and eventual IPO. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in FP&A, strong Excel modeling, ERP experience, and comfort with SQL or Python.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FP&A or corporate finance in a capital-intensive business
• Experience leading small teams in dynamic, high-growth environments
• Strong cross-functional communication aligning finance with operations
• Experience deploying finance technology platforms, with AI in FP&A workflows
• Willingness to travel to exploration field operations and mine development
• Proficient in advanced Excel modeling; ERP, SQL or Python a plus

Responsibilities

• Own cash forecasting including quarterly and annual spend predictions
• Develop analytical models to inform decision making and identify cost improvement opportunities
• Produce clear, actionable reporting that translates financial data for leaders
• Lead budgeting and capital allocation across programs and teams
• Build scalable FP&A processes and reporting infrastructure for global growth
