Mercor is seeking an experienced FP&A Expert for a remote contract role. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning alongside senior finance partners.

Responsibilities include building planning models, capital budgeting, and financial modeling using Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Planful, Tableau, and Power BI. Strong FP&A judgment and governance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A leadership roles such as Director of FP&A or CFO.
• Direct ownership of budgeting cycles and forecasting models.
• Fluency with FP&A tooling and corporate finance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Construct FP&A scenarios including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Build planning tasks across forecasting, capital budgeting, and financial modeling.
• Develop scenarios using tools like Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Planful, Tableau and Power BI.
• Apply FP&A methodologies and produce reference financial models and reports.
• Create rubrics distinguishing authentic FP&A judgment from generic analysis.
