Job summary

Mercor is seeking senior FP&A professionals to design evaluation tasks for AI-enabled financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis. The role mirrors complexities across US GAAP reporting and IFRS conventions, inviting experts on either or both tracks.

Contributors craft FP&A scenarios, draft reference outputs, and write rubrics that capture how senior FP&A leaders think, with exposure to budgeting cycles and capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A leadership roles at a major company.
• Direct ownership of budgeting cycles, forecasting models, or capital allocation decisions.
• Fluency with FP&A tooling and strong corporate finance and financial modeling practices.
• Professional credentials (CFA, MBA, or CPA) are a plus; rubric or training authorship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct FP&A scenarios across budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning.
• Build tasks across planning, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and capital budgeting.
• Develop scenarios with FP&A tools (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Planful) and BI/ERP systems.
• Apply driver-based forecasting and scenario modeling for US GAAP and IFRS reporting.
• Author rubrics to distinguish authentic FP&A judgment from template work.
