Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Financial Specialist, Personal Lines Insurance FP&A to drive advanced modelling, budgeting, and strategic financial analysis in a remote-capable role. You will collaborate with senior leaders and internal partners to align on priorities and improve decision making across the business.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in FP&A/Treasury, with strong analytical, math, and communication skills, plus project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.
• 8+ years of professional experience including 5+ years FP&A / Treasury.
• Advanced analytical skills to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Strong mathematics, organizational, and business writing skills.
• Project management skills to complete detailed data assignments and interpret concepts.
• Experience with operational/product/financial measures and models, business planning, cost/benefit analysis.
• Advanced interpersonal communication and cross-department relationship-building.
• Ability to lead and provide training and guidance to others.

Responsibilities

• Creates complex models that require subject matter expertise to improve operations and financial decisions.
• Provides complex financial and operational analysis to senior management and internal clients.
• Participates in preparing the complex components of operating budgets (pricing assumptions, 3rd party agreements, issues involving legal entities).
• Provides solutions/recommendations, strategies and actions to senior and executive management; may create presentations.
• Quickly assesses and interprets financial reports for senior management and alerts them to trends; develops solutions.
