Job summary

RugsUSA is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team, supporting planning, reporting, forecasting, and analytics. The role emphasizes modeling, automation, and reconciliation across revenue, margins, inventory, and expenses.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to deliver actionable insights, improve processes, and drive performance across brands and channels. Hybrid work with NYC on-site days is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data modeling experience.
• Experience with Power Query/Power Pivot or similar tools.
• Ability to build auditable, well-structured models with clear assumptions.
• Strong financial modeling, driver-based forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and identify drivers.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring weekly and monthly financial and KPI reporting.
• Support monthly close, forecast, and long-range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenarios.
• Provide insights on performance by brand, channel, and product.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to answer business questions.
• Create driver-based analyses connecting ops metrics to financials.
• Automate reporting and build finance dashboards.
